The Palace Park Photography Collective is a group of photographers, artists and emerging talent who have been meeting in Crystal Palace since 2023. The group exhibits as part of the Crystal Palace Artists Open House in September/October each year. To get in touch join our Photo Meet-Up sessions. Photo Meet-Up is a programme of monthly, regular sessions and workshops that take place at the Phoenix Community Center in Crystal Palace, SE19 3AF. Sessions are suitable for beginners, intermediate practitioners and artists who wish to expand their photography or lens-based practice. Experienced photographers and artists are very welcome to attend and will enjoy specific talks and events. Sessions are led and guided, yet invite self-determination and participation, with the group developing its own goals, both personal as well as a group ambition.

Learn about the histories of street photography, from photography’s beginnings to 20th century documentary photography and contemporary approaches. Taking Henri Cartier-Bresson's 'Decisive Moment' as a starting point, we will pay attention to female street photographers and photographers from different continents and communities.
